Jon M. Arrasmith

Jon Michael Arrasmith, affectionately referred to as “Aerosmith,” meant a great deal to the Gamma Xi Chapter of Phi Kappa Tau. He was a good man, a great Brother and taken from us too soon.

Jon served on the Board of Governors, served as a chapter advisor and was an active alumnus until the day he died. More than any of these, he was a good friend. He loved his chapter and Brothers a great deal. He served his chapter and would be doing so today if he were with us.

“Aerosmith” understood, believed and lived the ideals of Phi Kappa Tau. Jon was initiated into the Gamma XI chapter of Phi Kappa Tau in 2001.  He served on the Board of Governors for 3 years, one and a half years as risk management chair, and financial advisor for a year and a half. He served 2 years as chapter advisor. Jon also served as a positive influence to young Brothers who need that very thing. Many young Brothers are better men due to Jon’s influence.

What a high honor for our friend and Brother to have his accomplishments and contributions recognized through his induction into the Alpha class of the Gamma Xi Hall of Fame.
